Definitive PagesThis policy explains how the Definitive Pages app for Confluence Cloud ("the app") handles data. The app is provided by e360 ("we", "us").
Summary
The app runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform and in your browser. It reads the files you choose (Markdown, AsciiDoc, HTML or Jupyter notebooks) and writes them to your own Confluence site as pages, as you. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot access your content.
What the app reads
- The files you choose: the folder or .zip you pick is read in your browser. The app sends its contents only to your Confluence site.
- Confluence data it needs: the spaces and pages you can see (for the space and parent pickers) and, when you update an import, the status and version of the pages it created. All reads use your own Confluence permissions.
What the app stores
- In your Confluence site: the pages, attachments and labels created from your files. On the top page of each import, an import map (each file's path, its page, a fingerprint of its content, and the options used) so later imports can update the right pages. On each imported page, a small note with its source file's path and the import's top page, which Confluence shows as "Source: file.md". These are stored as ordinary Confluence content properties.
- In the app's Forge storage: a list of recent imports (top page ID and title, space key and name, source file name, page counts and time) so people can find an import to update it. Only the 50 most recent are kept.
- In your browser: the last space you used, and whether you've answered the request for a Marketplace review.
The app stores no names, email addresses or Atlassian account IDs.
Where it runs
The app runs on Atlassian's Forge platform and in your browser. It makes no network requests outside Atlassian, and it is eligible for Atlassian's "Runs on Atlassian" program. Forge storage is hosted by Atlassian with your site.
Retention and deletion
Imported pages are ordinary Confluence content: delete or archive them as usual, and the import map and source notes go with them. The recent-imports list drops older entries automatically. When the app is uninstalled, Atlassian handles the app's stored data under its Forge data retention policies, and your pages stay.
Cookies and analytics
The app sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. This website uses no tracking either.
